Pre Production-Inverted Triangle
The inverted triangle is a way that journalists organise the facts and information in the story in to a hierarchy so that the most important information can be read first. At the top of the triangle (the beginning of the story) the journalist will give a general overview of the story. The next section of the story will address this interesting facts of the story and give the reader a deeper insight to the article. The final section of the article will offer the less important information that readers may want to know if they are particularly interested in a story. The inverted triangle structure is meant to ensure that at whatever point the audience stops reading the story they will understand the article
